This weekend in Torino took place an important international meeting of historical Vespa. During a Sunday excursion around the Langa's hills, I met this likeable group of young German people riding their old Vespas.

My dad had a white Vespa. It looked funny in winter when he was driving it around in snowy landscapes. Thanks for bringing many memories back. It looks so lovely there.

Livio, very cool! Looks like a rally in Seattle, except they're all vintage scooters. The two with the leg shield banners appear to be about the same age as my vintage 1964 Vespa. Thanks very much for alerting me to your having seen this group. Interesting that they are Tedesco, non italiano.
