Terrible Church is that of "the Church of Misericordia", where the last rites were given to those facing death sentence. Displayed in a showcase you will find: the hanging rope, the small cup for the last drink, the black hoods, the crucifix and the register book with the names. Since 1889 capital punishment has been abrogated in Italy.
La Chiesa della Misericordia era il luogo dove i condannati a morte venivano condotti per le ultime preghiere e per ricevere l'estrema unzione, è quindi legata a reminiscenze terribili. In questo luogo si possono vedere esposti in una bacheca: la corda delle impiccagioni, il bicchierino dei condannati, il crocifisso oltre che i cappucci neri e il registro dei nomi dei giustiziati. In Italia la pena di morte è stata abolita fin dal 1889.
