The castle of Rivoli is a great baroque building, sited in a dominant position to the entrance of Susa valley. It was more times destroyed and reconstructed. The imposing height of building was intentional from Vittorio Amedeo II, as high as the flames that had destroyed it at the hands of French troops of Louis XIV the Sun King. Since 1984 it has been the site for the Museum of Contemporary Art.
Le château de Rivoli est un grand édifice baroque, situé en position dominante à l'entrée de la Vallée de Susa. Il fut plusieurs fois détruit et reconstitué. L'imposant hauteur de la construction fut voulu de Vittorio Amedeo II, haut comme les flammes qui le détruisirent par main des troupes françaises du Roi Soleil, Louis XIV. De 1984 est siège du Musée d'Art Contemporain.
Il castello di Rivoli è un grande edificio barocco, situato in posizione dominante all'imbocco della Valle di Susa. Esso venne più volte distrutto e ricostruito. L'imponente altezza della costruzione fu voluta da Vittorio Amedeo II, alto come le fiamme che l'avevano distrutto per mano delle truppe francesi del re Sole Luigi XIV. Dal 1984 è divenuto sede del Museo d'Arte Contemporanea.
