It’s a meeting point between different cultures, religions and outlooks to get better acquainted, to communicate and to walk together.
It’s an open house for those seeking assistance: single mothers, inmates, foreigners and people who need care, a home and a job.
It’s a place to pray where anyone can seek silence and, in silence, find God.
It’s a place where everyone can give back something of themselves: time, professional skills, as well as spiritual or material resources. What’s the result? Millions of people helping millions of people.

I like the thumbnail photograph were the previous weapon (or machinery?) is used for a plant container. Much more peaceful as a planter than as machinery.:)
Very nice initiative, making a difference in the lives of many, I'm sure.
I like the guard dog, too ;-)
Wow that's really great! I'm pleased that there are places like that to help disadvantaged people where you live.

Very interesting idea to turn a factory of war into a citadel of peace. Great looking dog in the photo! Very apt too, as dogs like everyone and are always friendly and non-warlike.
I couldn't see beyond the Old English Sheepdog puppy at first - I used to breed and show them and still judge the breed. then I read your words which make it all so beautiful.
Superb photographs.
Wow....GREAT Post! I wish there were more places such as this.
PS. The PUP is adorable!
