This fountain igloo at the same time as the towers by Pomodoro and other works in the public squares and city avenue, is the symbol of the metropolitan transformations concerning Torino.
Cette fontaine igloo, ensemble aux tours de A. Pomodoro et d'autres oeuvres dans les places et boulevards, est le symbole de la transformation métropolitaine en acte à Torino.

Questa fontana igloo con le torri di A. Pomodoro e altre opere nelle piazze e nei corsi cittadini, sono il simbolo della trasformazione metropolitana in atto a Torino.

"Le Nuove" the ex-old jails of Torino

"Le Nuove" The ex old jail of Torino was built in the year in wich was happening the Italian unification (1857-1869) on project by arch. Polani. Now this gloomy building is utilised for exhibitions an in the immediate future it will be restored in order to hold some judical premises.

"Le Nuove" carceri di Torino furono costruite negli anni dell'unità d'Italia (1857-1869) su progetto dell'architetto Polani. Dopo poco più di un secoloquesto tetro edificio viene utilizzato per mostre e nell'immediato futuro verrà ristrutturato per accogliere uffici giudiziari.

TRIADE by Arnaldo Pomodoro

Le tre torri di Arnaldo Pomodoro sulla rotonda di corso Maroncelli accolgono chi entra in Torino da sud. Sono un calco in fiberglass dell'altezza di 15mt dell'opera originale in bronzo e acciaio dello stesso autore. Rappresentano a mio avviso la tecnica delle industrie e la cultura che caratterizzano Torino.

The three towers by Arnaldo Pomodoro, welcome people who comes in Torino from south. The towers are the fiberglass cast 15mt heigh of original work art realised by Pomodoro in bronze and steel in US.

This weekend in Torino took place an important international meeting of historical Vespa. During a Sunday excursion around the Langa's hills, I met this likeable group of young German people riding their old Vespas.

Automotive event close Torino

An automotive event in San Mauro close to Torino. Cars have always represented the modern spirit of Torino's creativity. Even inside a Porsche there's a lot of this Turinese skill (my own too).

Piazza Palazzo di città

It was the marketplace for the medieval vegetable market accordingly called: Piazzetta delle Erbe. Was repeatedly adapted and widened in order to improve the visibility of Turin’s Town Hall. In the centre of the Piazza sits the memorial of the Green Count Amedeo VI (1343-83)

Fu sede del mercato delle erbe e per questo un tempo chiamata Piazzetta delle Erbe. Fu più volte adattata e ampliata per poter dare visibilità al Palazzo di Città sede della municipalità di Torino. Al centro della piazza risiede il monumento al Conte Verde (Amedeo VI, 1343-1383)

Il fut siège du médiéval marché des herbes et par cette raison un temps appelé Piazzetta des Herbes. Fut plusieurs fois adaptée et agrandie pour pouvoir donner plus de visibilité au Hotel de Ville siège de la municipalité de Torino. Àu milieu de la place il y a le monument au Conte Vert (Amedeo VI, 1343-1383)
